How did you get started?

8 years ago Miel started as a concierge service for bridal makeup and hair, as well organic spray tan parties in our client’s home. We saw a need for women to have a haven to address all beauty needs so Miel beauty bar was born. A place where women can come for guidance, support when looking to take care of themselves. Advanced, convenient, treatments for all women.
Where do you find your inspiration?

Our clients. The women that come through our doors have amazing stories and always give great advice! We learn from each other everyday.

Women are expected to juggle many roles, all with the pressure of looking put together. We aspire to lift all women up in support and camaraderie.
What does an appointment consist of?

Depends on the nature of the appointment. All facials include a first time consultation.
What’s your favorite type of appointment?

I love doing makeup. Having women exude a feeling of beauty and confidence is priceless.

Any new or upcoming news for your business?

We have some exciting new facial treatments that we will be adding soon! Anti-aging at its best.

When I’m not working my favorite places are outside. Ithaca gorges.
Any beauty tips for the busy mommas?

Water!!! Walks and a basic beauty routine should always consist of a good moisturizer with spf.

A pop of bronzer on the cheek and mascara give some glow.

Taking care of yourself is a journey. Being a woman is a beautiful thing. Nurture and honor yourself by creating space in your life for small beauty rituals.It’s the little things that can put a smile on your face.
